XI Limited Bonus Miles Flotilla is organized by North Sailing in collaboration with North Aegean Sailing Club. Bonus Miles Flotilla is a favorite adventure of North Aegean,and of course we are in love with North Aegean sea,but it’s time for something new,something differnt.

We are ready to explore new routes and new experiences.

The new  destination  is our Ionian Base Preveza.

A sailing trip from the North Aegean to Preveza encompasses a captivating journey through some of the most scenic and historically rich waters of Greece. This voyage offers an extraordinary opportunity to experience the diverse beauty of the Greek seascape, from the rugged charm of the North Aegean to the tranquil allure of the Ionian Sea.

It’s a highly expected and also a one-of-a-kind social cruise, during which you are visiting small bays and harbors in beautiful famous but also hidden destinations while practicing and developing your nautical skills.

  • Who is it for? / Required level

    XI LIMITED Bonus Miles Flotilla is just the right choice for you, if:

    •  you already have a sailing license (regardless of experience) and wish to enhance your sailing/seamanship skills, gain open sea experience, and certified Nautical Miles.
    • you want to get a sailing license – it’s a good opportunity by joining an Educational Crew
    • you are in love with the sea and seeking new adventures and impressions
    • you want to go on sailing holidays but for some reason, you don’t want or can’t take the whole boat.
  • When and where do we start and finish?

    Section A -5 Days

    • Meeting point:Keramoti port 15/04/2024
    • Embarkation can be done one day before 14/04/2024
    • Arrival  point: Lavrio port 20/04/2024
    • Also disembarkation port for section A

    Section B-7 Days

    • Meeting point:Lavrio port 20/04/2024
    • Arrival  point: Preveza port 27/04/2024

    *The bus will be organized for participants (optional and upon extra charge) to go from Preveza  to Keramoti.

    Aegean Crossing

    Section A Keramoti-Lavrio

    Starting from Keramoti, a picturesque coastal community in Kavala, the adventure begins. Sailing southward, your first stop is Lemnos, an island known for its stunning beaches and rich history. Lemnos provides a perfect pause to enjoy tranquility and natural beauty.

    Continuing south, the next destination is Lesvos, an island with a rich cultural background.

    From there, the route takes you to Ikaria, an island known for unparalleled natural beauty, and a unique way of life that contributes to the longevity of its inhabitants.

    Finally, the journey through the Cyclades is an exploration of some of the most iconic Greek islands, each with its own character.Sailing in the Cycladic waters, you’ll encounter breathtaking landscapes, crystal-clear seas, and a myriad of islands dotting the horizon.

    Embarking on a sailing trip from Keramoti to Lavrio, passing through the enchanting seas of Lemnos, Lesvos, Ikaria, and the Cyclades, is one of the most spectacular and adventurous sailing routes one can experience in the Aegean Sea. This journey offers a unique opportunity to explore some of Greece’s most historic and naturally beautiful places.

    Around Peloponnese

    Section B Lavrio-Preveza

    Arriving at Lavrio, on the southeastern tip of Attica, concludes this magnificent sailing adventure. Lavrio, a town with ancient mining history, is now known for its yacht marina and serves as a gateway to exploring the wonders of the Aegean Sea.

    We will continue to Sounion,the southernmost edge of the Athens Riviera is famous for the Poseidon Temple,a unique sailing route .Next destination Argosaronic Gulf the “Home of Sailing”,Argosaronic Gulf offers a brilliant  sailing conditions and has many islands featuring lots of historical spots like Spetses ,Ydra.

    Sailing southwest, you reach Monemvasia, the medieval castle on the sea, offering impressive views and a historical experience that seems to emerge from another era.

    Continuing south, the next stop is the beautiful Kythira, an island rich in myths and history, the perfect destination to enjoy tranquility and explore its hidden beaches.

    From Kythira, your route leads to the Ionian Sea, passing by Katakolon.Then, you head to Pylos and Costa Navarino, an area known for its wild natural beauty, the impressive landscapes, and historical sites.

    Sailing along the west coast of the Peloponnese, you’ll experience the diverse beauty of this region, from the rugged coastline to the serene beaches. The journey continues northward, offering the chance to visit the famous Ionian islands, such as Zakynthos,known for dramatic landscapes and beautiful beaches.

    A sailing trip encompassing  Ithaca(famously known as the homeland of Homer’s Odysseus) Lefkada and Preveza is an idyllic journey through some of the Ionian Sea’s most stunning destinations, each offering its unique blend of beauty, culture, and history. This voyage promises an unforgettable exploration of turquoise waters,Venetian castles,Italian atmpospere,olive trees, lush landscapes, and captivating coastlines.

    If you are lucky we will meet Mediterranean monk seals and caretta-caretta turtles ,an exotic landscape .

    Finally, your journey concludes in Preveza, a charming coastal town on the mainland, known for its rich history, beautiful beaches, and the nearby ruins of ancient Nicopolis.

    Section A+B Keramoti-Preveza

    A sailing trip from the North Aegean to the Ionian Sea presents an epic journey through Greece’s diverse maritime landscapes, offering a unique blend of cultural history, stunning natural beauty, and the deep blue of the Mediterranean. This voyage takes you from the rugged coasts of the North Aegean, down the eastern edge of mainland Greece, around the southern tip of the Peloponnese, and across to the emerald waters of the Ionian Sea.

    The route is designed in a way to provide participants with a rich sailing and nautical experience, always in complete safety. All crews have the opportunity to participate actively, steering, trimming the sails, mapping the route as well as other actions required for safe and rapid navigation.

    Stops and the final route of the Flotilla depend mainly on the weather conditions. The crews will gather at each stopover for weather analysis and mapping of the following route. We aim to go on open sails as longer part of the route as possible!


  • Ways of participation - Price types

    • Bareboat with your crew in one of our boats (mandatory extras are end cleaning, diesel, and safety deposit)
    • Individually as crew with other sailors (book a place in a double cabin with a cabin mate – or secure a single accommodation for yourself with an extra fee)
    • Join an educational boat with a crew of students and pass a fast-track sailing course during IX Limited Bonus Miles Flotilla, gaining open sea experience and obtaining a sailing diploma (theoretical & practical lessons)
  • Enhance your skills / obtain sailing licesne

    At least one of the boats, participating in Flotilla, is always educational, with a crew of students. It is an opportunity for those who want to make their first acquaintance with sailing and obtain a sailing diploma.

    The training boat is going to be skippered by an experienced sailing instructor from NASC.

    Upon completing the route and returning to Keramoti on 27/04, there will be a written examination for all students.

  • What’s included?

    • Individual prices include fuel, linen | the boats have pillows & blankets
    • Standard allocation is placed in a double cabin with a cabin mate. If you want the whole cabin just for yourself, please choose “single accommodation” in the tickets (please note this type of accommodation must be reconfirmed with our office)
    • Return one-way transfer from  Preveza to Keramoti on 27.04  is optional
    • For Bareboat options obligatory extras are diesel, safety deposit & end cleaning
    • Each participant will get a memory T-shirt with the Flotilla logo, as well as a Miles certificate
    • Food provisions are not included
