Shared Cruise

Explore the most famous bays and beaches, as well as hidden gems of Thassos island on board of sailing boat or catamaran!

“Highlights of Thassos” is a 7hours shared cruise, that is designed and being operated exclusively by North Sailing. We start in Limenas town and finish in Limenaria, or the opposite, depending on the boat’s location. Thus we are doing the one-way route, so you don’t see the same place again on return.

We follow the east side of the island preferrably, however, the west route is also possible (subject to weather/wind conditions).

Shared cruise means that you don’t hire a boat privately for yourself and there will be other passengers too. Minimum number of passengers in the group is 8 and maximum – 22.  We have different boats in our fleet and, according to the size of the group, we do the cruise in a suitable boat size. For example, catamaran has more space and can accommodate more passengers.

“Hightlights of Thassos” starts either in Limenas or Limenaria, two ports of Thassos island. We pick you up in the morning and bring to the port of embarkation. In the afternoon, the transfer from the port is also provided accordingly. One day before the cruise you will be notified about the pickup time and place for the next morning. Therefore, it’s necessary to let us know your location (please write it in the checkout notes).

If you don’t need a transfer, here are the meeting points for your information (we will contact you after booking to let you know which of two cities we will start the cruise on your chosen date):

Meeting point in Limenas: Dolphins statue in the main marina (you will see big white and blue flags with North Sailing logo).

Meeting point in Limenaria: Limenaria port 

If you are spending your vacation in Keramoti or other resort, you still are very welcome to join our cruise! There are frequent ferry boat line connection between Keramoti and Thassos island. All you have to do is to do the correct timing and arrive to the meeting point in Thassos island in time.

If we start the cruise in Limenas, then it’s only 5 min walk from the ferry boats port to reach Limenas marina and the dolphins statue (our meeting point – you will see big white and blue flags with North Sailing logo). If we start in Limenaria, we will pick you up from the meeting point next to the port where you arrive – hassle free!

We took care of it! While onboard, you will be offered a welcoming “geia mas” shot of Ouzo with olives (usually at the first stop). For the lunch, we offer stuffed vegetables, a traditional summer meal in Greece (vegetarian friendly), accompanied by seasonal salad, Greek tzatziki and fresh bread. One can of beer or soft drink is included to the lunch, plus there is a possibility to purchase extra (beer/coca-cola/orangeade/white wine/ . Moreover, water, instant coffee and tea are  offered throughout the day and unlimited.

Besides the described above meals & drinks, your ticket includes the 7h cruise itself, skipper services and boat’s diesel. Transfer from your resort to the port and back is also included*

*Please note that for some distant hotels there is no possibility to provide the transfer directly to the hotel, however we will offer you a pick up from the nearest possible resort.

On the East route, among the places of interest on our route are: Makryammos, Erik’s bay, Marble beach, Vathy, Golden beach, Gramvousa, Kinira and Paradise beach, Aliki, Archangeli Michael Monastery, Giola, Salonikios, Potos (the exact program and stops are weather dependant).

On the West route, you will be able to see: Papalimani, Glifada, La Scala, Glykadi, Pachis, Glyfoneri, Skala Rachoni, Prinos, Kallirachi, Skala Marion, Atspas, Fari, Kefalas, Tripiti, Metalia, Kavos Antoni (the exact program and stops are weather dependant).

We usually make 3-4 stops for swimming, so you will have time to enjoy the sea as well. Feel free to bring your snorkeling mask!

As the port police require to submit all passengers data, we will contact you after the reservation regarding this (we will need full name, ID/passport number and date of birth for all the passengers in your booking).

• In case of cancellation more than 48 hours until the cruise start time you will receive full refund.
• In case of cancellation less than 48 hours until the cruise start time there is no refund.
• For the cancellations done in less than 48 hours until the cruise start time, if you have a statement from the doctor – 50% refund will be provided.
• We keep the right to change the date in case the group is less than 8 pax. Alternative date(s) will be offered to you. In case there are no dates suitable for you, you will receive full refund.
