Youth Sailing Camp: The Ultimate Experience and Opportunity

Our sailing camp is carefully designed to offer a fully educational and immersive experience for beginners and those who are just starting to take an interest in sailing. Whether you’ve never set foot on a sailboat before or have a basic understanding, our camp is structured to accommodate all skill levels. With a team of experienced instructors, we provide personalized guidance and hands-on training, ensuring that every participant not only learns to sail but also understands the science and mechanics behind it.

The Sail Camp is located in Fanari, Rodopi, an area known for its diverse landscape, making it ideal for sailing. The natural conditions of Fanari provide the perfect setting to learn and practice the art of sailing. Additionally, for your convenience, free transportation will be provided from Komotini, making it easier for you to participate in the camp and fully enjoy the experience it offers.

The Sail Camp will operate from October 15th to April 15th, offering you the flexibility to tailor your training to your own schedule. This allows you to choose the dates that suit you best, so you can attend classes without disrupting your other commitments. The Sail Camp schedule will be posted on our website, where you can view it in detail. From there, you will have the opportunity to select the dates you wish to attend the classes. This enables you to shape your experience based on your personal needs and available time, ensuring that your training is perfectly adjusted to your pace.

Once you have completed your registration, you will have the ability to customize your training program according to your needs and availability. Whether you want to fully immerse yourself in sailing for a continuous period or attend classes at a more relaxed pace, the Sail Camp is here to provide you with the ultimate training experience, tailored to your own time.

• Learning the sailing boat outdoor – interior – rigging
• Handling the sailing boat upwind – downwind – reach
• Trimming the sailing boat upwind – downwind – reach
• Reef – reduse sail area
• Course with compass
• Moorings in bay / in port – anchoring
• Approaching with the side
• Man Over Board
• Knots
• Using instruments of the sailing boat
• Plot a course
• Using VHF
• Using rescue equipment

• Ability to swim
• Student id
• You should be older than 18 years old
  
• Documents required: 2 x colored digital photos of official type; copy of your passport or ID card; health certificate from the doctor (for the Sailing Federation Athlete card); filled registration formes of North Aegean Sailing Club

Upon comleting a program and passing the examination successfully, you will become a holder of skipper license for sailboats up to 24m, internationally recongized, without miles limitation.

Your registration for the Youth Sailing Camp costs only 30 euros, which covers your enrollment in the sailing school. After registration, you have the option to pay per lesson you attend, allowing you to manage the cost according to your needs and preferences.  At the end of your training, you’ll need to pay the fees for the examination required to obtain your sailing license, ensuring the completion of the program and your official certification. Alternatively, you can choose to pay the full amount upfront.
