IX Bonus Miles Flotilla

Bonus Miles Flotilla is just right choice for you, if:

•  you already have a sailing license (regardless of experience) and wish to enhance your sailing/seamanship skills, gain open sea experience and certified Nautical Miles.
• you want to get a sailing license – it’s good opportunity by joining an Educational Crew
• you are in love with sea and seeking for new adventures and impressions
• you want to go for sailing holidays but for some reasons you don’t want or can’t take the whole boat.

Start:  Keramoti port on 18/04/2023

Start for students: 17/04/2023

Arrival: Volos port, 21/04 afternoon, last night on the boats in the port and check-out next morning, Saturday 22/04

The bus will be organized for participants (optional and upon extra charge) to return to Keramoti from Volos on 22/04.

Bonus Miles Flotilla offers an adventurous one-way route including North Aegean islands and Sporades islands.

The route is designed in a way to provide participants with a intense sailing / nautical experience, always in complete safety. All crews have the opportunity to participate actively by  steering, trimming the sails, mapping the route as well as performing other actions required for safe and rapid navigation.

Stops and the final route of the Flotilla depend mainly on the weather conditions. The crews will gather at each stopover for weather analysis and mapping of the following route. We aim to go on open sails as longer part of the route as possible!

At least one of the boats, participating in Flotilla, is always educational, with a crew of students. It is an opportunity for those who want to make their first acquaintance with sailing and obtain sailing diploma.

The training boat is going to be skippered by experienced sailing instructor from NASC (the educational Flotilla will include one extra day and starts on 17.04.2023)

Upon completing the route and returning to Keramoti on 22/04, there will be a written examination for all students.

• Bareboat with your crew in one of our boats (mandatory extras are end cleaning, diesel, safety deposit)
• Individually as crew with other sailors (book a place in a double cabin with cabin mate – or secure a single accommodation for yourself with an extra fee)
• Join an educational boat with crew of students and pass a fast track sailing course during Bonus Miles Flotilla, gaining the open sea experience and to obtain a sailing diploma (theoretical & practical lessons)

• Individual prices include fuel, linen | the boats have pillows & blankets
• Standard allocation is place in a double cabin with cabin mate. If you want the whole cabin just for yourself, please choose “single accommodation” in the tickets (please note this type of accommodation must be reconfirmed with our office)
• Return one-way transfer from Volos to Keramoti on 22.04 is optional and costs 30€/person
• For Bareboat options obligatory extras are diesel, safety deposit & end cleaning
• Each participant will get a memory T-shirt with Flotilla logo, as well as Miles certificate
• Food provisions are not included
