USEFUL INFORMATION
Q&A
- From which base can I start my charter?
We offer week charters from our bases in Volos and Keramoti throughout the whole year, while our base in Thassos operates from early May till the end of September. Usually, the charter starts and ends in the same base. It is possible to book one-way charters between our bases or elsewhere, however, a fee may be applied. If you would like to sail for less than a week, do not hesitate to contact us, as we may be able to offer some of our yachts for a shorter period from/to our bases.
- Which day can I start my charter?
Charters start on Saturdays. For other days in the week, an extra fee may be applied.
- Terms of payment?
According to our payment policy, the payment for the charter should be done via bank transfer directly to our account before your embarkation. All the extras (cleaning fee, SUP rental, or other optional extras) and the security deposit are to be paid in the base before embarkation. On disembarkation, the fuel tank will be refilled and you are charged for the fuel you have consumed during your charter.
- Yacht equipment and safety?
Our boats are equipped with the strictest inventory and all safety equipment according to Greek law.
- Mooring fees
The mooring fees for the first and last night on our bases are included in the price. There are various small charges of mooring fees in our area, and the fees depend on the port/marina you visit during your trip.
- Sailing license/qualifications
If you are booking a bareboat charter (without a skipper) you will need to prove your sailing knowledge to the coast guard by showing a sailing license issued by a recognized authority. You also need to have a co-skipper, certified or with appropriate experience/knowledge.
